How to view orders from the Orders section.
Email notifications
When an order is placed you will receive an email notification with the details of the order. The link in the email will take you to the Order Management section of your website for speed and ease.
You don't need to keep these emails as all orders from customers are stored in your Shop's Admin area.
To change the email address that these notifications are delivered to please follow the instructions here.
New Orders
When you receive a new Order email notification, click the link to take you to the Order Management page. From here you will see an overview of the orders made through your website at the top.
Alternatively, you will find all of your orders listed in the 'Orders' section on the left hand side of your Shop's admin.
Below that is a list of all the orders made on your shop.
By default the newest order will be at the top of the page so you can quickly see what actions you may need to take. To view an order, simply click on the order line and you will then see the Order Detail Page.
From this page you can adjust and edit various items of the order, including the customer and shipping details, the transaction details, internal notes, shipping details and a timeline of the order itself.
You also have the option of adding payment information to the order (Add new transaction), marking as paid, cancelled, held or fraudulent and editing the order e.g. adding or removing products.
Finally, you can mark the order as Dispatched, Local Collection or Shop Collection and send an email to the customer to let them know. Note that the wording on the email will change depending upon the shipping option the customer picked and will automatically include their order ID and product details.
